Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)

– Wildlife Component

Background

Wildlife Technical Services (WTS) specializes in the collection of baseline field data required during assessments of wildlife habitat, wildlife inventory, and evaluations of the environmental impacts of proposed developments.

WTS has conducted a wide range of wildlife inventory projects for the assessment of resource exploration, development and extraction programs, wind power projects, urban and rural developments, including Wetland Mitigation and Compensation.

WTS services include herptile, avian and mammalian inventories using best practice sampling protocols, including those for species listed by federal, provincial and state agencies as of special status.
